    For years I have been thinking about trying a good pair of headphones, instead of the Christmas cracker pair I’ve been using for years.
    A email to Simon, for some good advice and with in a few days I am testing the Focal Elegia. I now know what I have been missing all these years. My pair of earphones have gone back in a Christmas cracker!
    The Elegia’s are so open and detailed and comfortable for serious listening.
    I am now hearing the full benefits of my Chord TT2 and my bedtime listening has gone up 100%.
    I have listen to, a full range of music, from classical right through to rock and more and the Elegia’s just handle all types of music with ease.
    Even the wife finds the Elegia’s a joy, so they must be good.

    An excellent pair of headphones that offer a neutral sound and pair well with different amps, including a tube amp. The build quality is very good, including the made to measure headphone case. The cable can be a little stiff at first, but it does get better with use. In my view, the Elegia’s are perfect for those working from home that can concentrate by listening to music and blocking out the outside world, as they offer good sound, isolation and are comfortable for extended listening periods.
