STAX Industries was founded in 1938 and developed the world’s first electrostatic headphone in 1959.
To this day STAX continues their tradition of offering the finest headphones, or ‘earspeakers’! The term is the result of the company’s belief that their headphones should not be compared to other headphones, and instead should only be compared to the best cost-no-object loudspeakers.
Our team are of the opinion that the STAX music listening experience is an immersive one, exposing fine elements within the music when compared to other headphones.
Try before you buy from an authorised STAX dealer
In November 2021, Home Media were appointed as an authorised dealer of STAX headphones and energisers. Our demonstration stock consists of the following models and will of course grow to include the full range of STAX Earspeakers and Energisers:
